Orton circled Kofi, but Kingston did not back down. They traded slaps and Orton sent Kingston to the corner, pounding him down with fists. Crowd got into Kofi early and Kingston came back with an uppercut, then a high dropkick. Over the top went Orton and Kofi followed him, throwing him back into the ring. Legacy ran to ringside. That distracted Kofi, who low-bridged Orton to the outside and onto the others. He then dove through the ropes and onto them. Legacy re-grouped and surrounded the ring. Ozzy came on the Titan-Tron and said he knew this was going to happen, and Sharon turned it into a six-man tag. MVP and Mark Henry joined the action. The original match went less than three minutes. The six-man will start up next.
Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase vs. Kofi Kingston, MVP & Mark Henry
I like them separately, but I have a hard time getting excited about the tandem of Henry and MVP. Kofi fought off pretty much all of Legacy as the show returned, match in progress. Kofi and MVP did both of their pet moves at the same time on a prone DiBiase for two. Henry tagged in and headbutted DiBiase. Teddy went low to the knee of Henry, then tagged Rhodes. Their double-team had little effect, as he clotheslined both men. Is the moniker “World’s Strongest Man” like the term “President,” where even if you’re no longer it, they still call you it, and not “former”? Because Henry was strongest man like 15 years ago. Anyway, MVP came in and took the brunt of Legacy’s punishment for a while. High dropkick by Rhodes after MVP fought out of a rest-hold. Standing dropkick from Orton for two. Orton trademark chin-lock as MVP’s partners tried to get the fans behind him. MVP with a clothesline and both men were down. Orton attacked Kofi before he could connect with MVP, and Orton subsequently dragged MVP to the heel corner. Tag into DiBiase, who was greeted with an overhead throw from Henry. Henry cleaned house until Orton went after the knee. He was going for the RKO, but Kofi dropkicked him. Rhodes to the top- he jumped into Henry’s arms, not showing much sagacity on that one. World’s Strongest Slam by Henry and it’s over.
Winners: Kingston, Henry and MVP, 6:49

Post-match: Randy Orton snuck up behind Kofi Kingston as he celebrated on the stage and chucked Kofi off the stage to the floor below next to the NASCAR cars. Don’t tell me he’s going to run him over. Crowd with a loud “Cena, Cena” chant as Orton stared down at Kofi, who was checked on by medical staff. Orton was obviously upset Kofi interfered in the Iron Man match. Orton stared down at Kofi with that look as Kofi slowly made it to a seated position before they cut to promos. Kofi getting some serious attention from two of WWE’s top heels tonight.
Backstage: Josh Mathews caught up to Randy Orton for an explanation. Orton said Kofi Kingston interfered in his match last night. He’s putting the blame on Kofi for losing last night. And he’s only just begun. Cody and Ted then interrupted Orton’s interview time. They want to show their support. Cody was more enthusiastic. Ted reluctantly went along with this. Legacy then walked Orton over to a brand-new NASCAR car with his face and likeness all over the hood and car. Orton paused and said this is incredible. Ted said it’s no price for the son of the million dollar man. Ted said they’ve had their issues recently, but Orton should consider this a token of their appreciation. Ted said they have another surprise for Orton. He said it’s only a matter of time before the WWE Title comes back to Legacy. Key word: Legacy. Orton was too enthralled with checking himself out on the car to notice what Ted said. Lawler said it was a little creepy. Orton continued to snake around the hood of the car before they cut away.

Backstage: DiBiase said Orton hasn’t returned any of his calls. Orton then slithered into the camera shot and stared down DiBiase, who went silent. Orton did his Jake Roberts voice asking him what about him betraying him he should understand. Orton said if he were DiBiase…pause…if he were DiBiase… He said DiBiase needs to listen carefully. Orton told Ted he will not fight back, will not lift a finger, and will not take advantage of another opportunity. Orton told Ted he could be kicked out of Legacy if he disobeys him. “Your choice, Ted,” Orton said with a sinister look on his face. Ted breathed heavily and surveyed his options as they cut to break.
WWE champion Randy Orton then came out as the announcers talked about Orton having so many other things to worry about with Cena on Sunday in a 60-minute Iron Man match.
WWE champion RANDY ORTON vs. TED DIBIASE, JR
Bell sounded and Orton walked right up to DiBiase. Orton then kicked DiBiase in the gut to boos. DiBiase didn’t fight back and Orton landed an uppercut. Ted then had a look of disgust mixed with determination. Crowd with a mild chant for DiBiase. Orton then kicked DiBiase in the gut again. DiBiase shook like he was about to snap on Orton. Orton with another boot. DiBiase was shaking. “You want to hit me?! Do you want to hit me?!” Orton screamed at him.

Cena then made his full comeback and put DiBiase in position for the STF center ring. DiBiase nearly tapped, but Randy Orton slithered in and out of the ring to distract Cena. Cody then snuck up behind DiBiase and rolled him up with a small package to win the match.
Post-match: Orton had to keep Cody and Ted away from each other while Cena was all-smiles leaving the ring. Things were about to explode, but Nancy O’Dell appeared on the videotron to settle them down. She said since it’s obvious Cody and Ted aren’t getting along right now, let’s see how they really get along in a tag match later tonight. How about Cody & Ted against Orton…and John Cena. Cena went from all-smiles to his look of concern. Meanwhile, Orton tried to calm Ted and Cody down.
WINNER: Cody Rhodes at 13:20

Randy Orton’s music interrupted the celebration. He slowly came to the ring. Justin Roberts introduced him as he made his way to the ring. Yes, a perfect time for a commercial.
Orton was finally in the ring, no Divas in sight. Thank God; that could’ve been ugly. Orton told everyone he beat John Cena last night at Hell in a Cell. Orton claimed he didn’t cheat at all or use back-up last night. He said he beat Cena last night, end of story. Orton anticipated Cena coming out and asking for a re-match. He invited Cena to come out, because he said he knew exactly how he’d respond to Cena. Cena did, in fact, come out. No worse for wear, I might add. Orton yelled that Cena wouldn’t get a re-match for the title tonight. Cena said Orton just told the WWE Universe he doesn’t give a damn about them. So? Why would Orton care? Cena congratulated Orton on his win (boos for that), and said he walked in as champion and out as champion. Huh? There was something special about their Hell in a Cell match last night, Cena claimed. Cena said 60,000 of the WWE Universe was on their feet. I hope I mis-heard him and he said 16,000.

Backstage: After the announcers talked up the deck stacked against Cena tonight, they cut to Josh Mathews for an interview with Randy Orton. Orton methodically marched through a death and destruction promo on Cena before their WWE Title match at the PPV. We’ll mark that generic promo #1 tonight. Just didn’t catch the viewer for why they should order the PPV on Sunday. Seemed like empty threats we’ve heard from Orton before. It was a fine promo, but WWE hasn’t booked Orton to have enough credibility for those threats to be credible.
Backstage: They showed Jericho, Show, and Orton talking strategy in their locker room. Show said he’s got him
WWE champion JOHN CENA vs. RANDY ORTON & Unified tag champions CHRIS JERICHO & BIG SHOW — gauntlet non-title match
Orton’s music hit and he slowly made his way to the ring for the third part that never really started. Cena sold tremendous back pain as Orton was on his one-step-every-five-minutes pace. Orton stared into the ring as Cena tried to pull himself up by the ropes. Orton did his heelish slight turn of the head look as Cena told him to hurry up and come get some. Bell sounded and Cena seemed to be in a different state of mind. Orton slowly walked over to him, but Cena pointed to the top of the building and the Cell started to lower down.
