Randy-Orton.com celebrating 6 years online!

We are a little late but we wanted to make this post to thank all of you fans for visiting our website for as long as it’s been online, and today marks it’s 6 year anniversary! We wouldn’t have been able to do what we do for this long without Randy, first and foremost and our previous friends whom were apart of this site before and after Ang and myself were. So we would like to send a very appreciative thank you out to Jen and Solina for creating the site and for making it what it was. The site is a joy and pain to run, much like having a child of your own it’s a uphill battle but no matter what you love it, and that’s the truth, we love the site and Randy, so it’s not really such a hard job to continue doing what we love.

Again thank you all for all of your support, if not for all of you the site would be nothing. And since today was such a special day, we thought it would be best to finally share this photo with all of you.

This photo was taken during Wrestlemania weekend back in March while in Arizona courtesy of my very awesome friend, Samantha who took the photo for us. Randy, despite being swarmed by fans still took the time to pose with a sign showing his support for our website. Awesome right? We know.

Lastly, we want to thank Randy again for everything he does. We’ve said this before but without you the site wouldn’t even exist. So thank you for sharing your talent with the world and supporting our site in the process. It really means so much and makes the ride even more worth while.

We want to ask everyone not to re-upload the photo above, however we know despite our asking nicely some will, so we have tagged it heavily to try to prevent all posers out there from cloning off our tag and passing it off as a “proof” photo.

We’ve said before and we continue to say it, Randy does not have a Myspace, Facebook, Twitter or messenger screenames. He’s stated it before and so has WWE. Despite some posers out there being harder to pin as a fake it’s simple, if and when he gets a Twitter and such WWE will likely announce it themselves or Randy will. In the mean time if your talking to any “Randy Orton” on anything, be aware it is NOT HIM.

First of all I’m super excited to say that Randy is featured more then twice in this months WWE Magazine but, they actually included a exclusive double-sided poster of Randy too! I know you little fan girls are going to freak out over that one little tidbit but, hey! We girls at Randy-Orton.com got your back!

I’ve taken my free time to personally scan the poster and piece it together for those not able to go out and get the magazine themselves. All in all I’ve added 13 High Quality scans of Randy from this month’s May 2009 issue!

For those interested in the few photos of him posing on the turnbuckle you can get a really great glimpse at Randy’s tattoo of his daughters name Alanna, and if you look closely can see her birth date in roman numerals directly underneath. Beautiful right?

Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “Greats of the Game” Scans

I’ve just uploaded 24 High Quality scans of Randy from Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “Greats of the Game” Collector edition for the month of January 2009. Randy is one of the chosen six out of Shawn Michaels, Booker T, The Undertaker, Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio for this special edition magazine.

AN: I think this is definitely worth picking up if you have the chance. It has not only great photos of Randy but a in depth look into Randy’s career strengths and weaknesses. I found it to be great read.

UK Kids Choice Awards Photos and Video

As we reported earlier in July Randy was up for the UK Kids Choice Awards “Most Baddie” award. Sadly he did not win the award but, he did have a small appearance on the show. I’d like to think Linda of Unique-Divas.com for sending us captures and video from the show.

I also uploaded 2 scans from the November issue of WWE magazine last night into the gallery. Sadly though he didn’t have much of anything in the magazine, which as we all know isn’t shocking at all. You can view them here.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated presents PWI 500 Scans

As we reported last month, Randy was Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine’s choice pick for their honorable #1 spot. Many have graced the PWI 500′s #1 spot, but this year Randy reigns supreme. You can read the article with Randy’s father Bob about Randy being this years number one place holder, also PWI’s prediction of where they see Randy in the next ten years.

New Randy Appearance at Slackers!

Randy Orton is doing an In Store Appearance for Slackers CD’s and Games at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, Missouri this Saturday August 30th at 6pm. Originally Mr. Kennedy was scheduled but had to cancel due to surgery on Friday. Randy will be taking his place.

Message from Randy about his accident

Randy posted earlier today about almost 7pm Eastern time on our forum, giving everyone a more detailed report on his accident. I would have posted this sooner but I wanted to make sure it was cool with him.

i was ran off the road last night at 1030 by a car that had its hi beams on and was veering into m lane during a sharp turn a the top of a hill near my home. i had no choice but to crash, and was thrown 300 feet from the concrete block that sent me flying. i was traveling about 30 miles per hour. i’m lucky to be alive. i have some pretty severe skinned up areas such as my left knee right foot, and left shoulder trap. wwe. com should be posting that it wasn’t 30 feet but 300 soon. i just called and bitched em out, for the typo. i was wearing a helmet, and if not for that i would have without a doubt been a goner. i see what the extent of my rebroken collarbone is tommorow. ill let you all know. the bike was a harley fat bob, and it was a rental. it is totaled.im happy im alive, and that the bike wasn’t mine. all i could think about was my daughter and samantha. God was definetly watching over me!!

Sky Sports News 08/07/08 – Photos and Video

Despite today being My 19th Birthday I figured to update asap with these captures and video since so many were interested in watching the interview. I hope you all appreciate our hard work.

I’d also like to apologize for the gallery issues, they are completely out of my hands. I’m currently waiting for our gallery’s host to take a look at the issue, so hopefully it will be resolved soon, however in the meantime I’ve made a temporary gallery which I will be using until ours back running full time.

Randy visits Sky Sports News (08.07.2008)

I’d like to thank melissa_ox of our forum for writing up this recap.

Randy says Summerslam is one of their biggest events of the year. He’s fortunate to have been in the last five and he hopes to be back by Summerslam and is cleared by his doctor. He’ll be back soon. It was one break in the clavicle and it not that bad. He recovered very quickly and he’ll be back in the ring in the next few weeks.

Someone mentions his little girl and he says it’s awesome being a father and it does change your life. He says he loves her so much and it was so hard leaving her for the first time, but he has ichat so he’s been able to see and talk to them at night.

He says wrestling was in his blood. His father was Cowboy Bob, and his Grandfather was also a wrestler but sadly passed away two years ago and he misses him alot.

What about the pressure? He says it helped him and there wasn’t much pressure. He doesn’t mean to sound arrogant but he was a natural. After a year and a half of training he was on tv. He never really had pressure because he filled the shoes quickly.

If he had a son, would he encourage him to pursue wrestling? Yes, whatever he wanted to do, he’d support him. He says if Alanna wanted to be a WWE diva he wouldn’t be happy but he’d encourage her. He says she has some time left to decide (lol)

He’s asked what it takes and what you need to be a wrestler. He says he meets alot of fans and they’re important as they’re their salaries so you’ve got to be good with them and with sleep deprivation, constant travel, working through injuries and you’ve got to be able to stay on the scene.

They show some footage of Jeff vs Randy, he says the baseball slide hurt like a shotgun to the chest. He mentions that he loves getting the crowd involved, it’s an interactive show.

The host says that where fashion is concerned, less is more. He says he gets away with wearing a pair of pants and it’s good for him that speedos are back in and maybe he can wear his work clothes to the beach. He says it was awkward at first walking out in them but he got used to it. You have to be confident.

He’s asked who he would face, past or present? Randy says Hulk Hogan again at Summerslam as he wasn’t happy about being beaten by a walking plastic man with a fake hip and fake knees.

Who do you admire most? His father, but currently the Undertaker. He’s very looked up to, especially by guys of his age. You can go to him for advice.

How long until The Age of Orton is back? He said he’ll be back very soon and he doesn’t know if he’ll be back at Summerslam but if he feels the need to return at Summerslam, then he will. (his expressions tell me he will LOL)

Is Wrestling consuming? Being married and having a baby, its hard to focus your attention. He likes to take his wife to dinner and movies and likes to keep things fresh. It’s hard to have hobbies when you have to stay in shape and travel. It’s very hard. He says its not hard getting a table at a restaurant where he’s from!

How does wrestling compare to 10 years ago? He says there’s more athleticism. There’s more high flying moves, he doesn’t do much of it, he’s more of an intense bad guy with his expressions! Back in the day things were alot slower and the bar has risen greatly.

Who was your hero? He wanted to be his father growing up, but apart from him Jake the Snake. When he was a child, Jake would let the snake lose in the empty shower in the locker room and Randy would be there poking and prodding it.

He mentions William Regal and says he’s a good guy and has the accent and brings their culture over there. He loves being around UK fans, they’re energetic and they don’t get over there often.

If it want for wrestling what else would you be doing? He tried the military, that had a bad ending which he doesn’t want to talk about. School is not for him, some physical labor and nothing glamorous. He’s lucky to be doing what hes doing.

Favorite ever match and why? Mick foley at 2004 Backlash. The crowd was crazy and screaming at the top of their lungs. Talks about the tac spot and says it was gruesome but it gave him his break with the fans.

How does it take to recover from that? He says it depends, he got split open and it took some glue and some weeks, but you get iced up and you go on.

He mentions his training regime and says it includes alot of chicken, beef, eggs – high protein. But you need energy from carbs but carbs can be substituted with fats.

The host says the female fans will be disappointed that he’s married. Randy says he loves his wife very much (You have to see the video to see how he said that.. omg. lol)

How long will you go for? Atleast another 10 years as long as he doesn’t get injured. He’d love to keep wrestling into his 30′s. He also shows off his bling’d out wedding ring and his watch.

Randy plugs SS one more time and says he may be there to do some dirty work, you’ll have to watch it – but he WILL be backstage.

And lastly, How difficult is it to learn a signature move? He offers to do it to the host but he’s not allowed to. He brnigs up his finisher, says he can do it to anybody at anytime. And he says he can jump really high and he’s quick. The hosts say they need a finishing move and a massive watch!
