Renee Young is in the interview area with Randy Orton. Renee asks Randy about what happened on Raw when Kane said that he hates Orton. Randy says that he does not care what Kane says. He cares that Kane does what is best for business and that is walking out of Battleground as Champion.

Chris is an old opponent of his. Chris has done everything in the WWE. Some say that Chris is a legend. Randy says that the only thing left is to introduce Jericho to the Legend Killer.

Chris Jericho versus Randy Orton

They lock up and Orton with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Jericho with a drop kick and then he kicks Orton in the corner. Orton rolls to the floor and he tries to get into Jericho’s head. Jericho with a springboard drop kick that knocks Orton off the apron and we go to commercial. We are back and Jericho chokes Orton in the ropes. Jericho with a splash to the back and then he gets a near fall. Orton with a kick followed by a kick to the ribs and a clothesline in the corner. Orton stomps on the ankle and then he chokes Jericho with his boot. Jericho chops Orton.

Jericho with an Irish whip and Orton moves in the corner when Jericho tries for a splash. Jericho goes to the floor. Orton follows Jericho to the floor and Orton sends Jericho into the ring steps. Orton Irish whips Jericho into the ring steps. Orton with a back drop driver onto the ringside barrier. Orton rolls Jericho back into the ring and Orton gets a near fall. Orton poses and Jericho with a rollup for a near fall. Orton with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Orton with a reverse chin lock. Jericho gets back to his feet. Jericho with an elbow and chop. Orton sends Jericho to the mat and then Orton poses again.

Orton with a boot to the midsection and he drives his boot into the chest. Orton with a near fall. Orton returns to the reverse chin lock. Jericho with a belly-to-back suplex. Orton with kicks and Jericho with chops. Jericho with a running forearm and shoulder tackle but Orton sends Jericho over the top rope. Jericho lands on the apron and he goes up top and hits a chop to the top of the head. Jericho with a double leg take down and he tries for the Walls of Jericho but Orton punches him. Orton with a power slam for a near fall. Orton kicks Jericho in the chest followed by an Irish whip but Jericho floats over and hits an enzuigiri and Jericho gets a near fall. Jericho kicks Orton and Jericho with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Jericho goes up top and Orton hits the ropes and it crotches Jericho.

Randy Orton comes out and he works over Ambrose and Seth makes it two on one.
Roman Reigns’ music plays and he comes to the ring. Orton and Rollins with the early advantage on Reigns when he gets into the ring but Reigns takes over and he works over Orton and Rollins. Ambrose joins in and he attacks Rollins.

Triple H’s music plays and he comes out to the stage. Hunter says that they have made their point so it is time for him to make his point. His point is the only one that matters. If Dean wants to fight, he will get a fight when he faces Randy Orton. Roman, since you like to stick your nose in everyone’s business, if you get involved in the match, you are out of the main event at Battleground.

Randy Orton versus Dean Ambrose
Ambrose punches Orton but Orton with a kick. Ambrose with a punch and he sends Orton into the corner. Ambrose runs his forearm across the bridge of the nose. Orton tries to send Ambrose into the turnbuckles but Ambrose blocks it. Ambrose punches Orton in the corner and the hits a short arm clothesline. Orton wrings the injured left arm and Orton goes to the floor.

Orton returns to the ring and Ambrose with a knee and punches. Ambrose puts Orton in the ropes and connects with a forearm and then Ambrose with a suplex attempt but his injured shoulder prevents him from getting Orton up and Orton with a drop kick for a near fall. Orton with a wrist lock but Ambrose with a single leg take down and then eh connects with boots to the midsection.

Ambrose traps the legs and he stretches Orton. Ambrose with a boot to the hand. Orton sends Ambrose into the turnbuckles and then Orton drops the injured arm on the top rope. Orton with an arm bar. Ambrose with punches but Orton with a head butt. Ambrose with a cross body and punches to Orton. Orton with a kick and Ambrose tries to bounce off the ropes but Orton with a boot to the shoulder and Ambrose goes to the floor.

The show begins with the events of Daniel Bryan becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and having it vacated due to injury. Because of this, at the Money in the Bank PPV, there will be a Ladder Match for the vacant championship. The participants are John Cena, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Cesaro, Kane and Roman Reigns.

Triple H, Seth Rollins and Triple H, Evolution, are in the ring. Triple H says in this business things are referred to by eras; like the Golden, Attitude and Ruthless Aggression. Triple H says it was the Reality Era, but it will now be the Authority Era, as history will be made. Triple H says at the end of Money in the Bank, we will have a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H says you also get a traditional contract match, and says the new Champion will be Randy Orton and the new Mr. Money in the Bank will be Seth Rollins. Triple H says that is best for business. Orton says he will once again become the face of the WWE. Also, Rollins says he will defeat 6 others, including Dean Ambrose, hat guarantees him a title match. Rollins says if things don’t work out, they always have a Plan B. Rollins says it may be possible that Orton won’t win, as Orton says without the Shield he can whip Rollins’ ass. Triple H says they should trust each other because he trusts both of them. Triple H says there is one constant in the whole equation; and that is Stephanie and Himself. Triple H says you either live with or survive with the Authority. It is adapt or perish, as Orton is the present, Rollins is the future; and they are best for business. Triple H says everyone will see Dean Ambrose, but he has some bad new for everyone. Bad News Barrett makes his way to the ring.

Roman Reigns vs. Kane
Winner:
Roman Reigns (Disqualification)

Kane sets up a ladder, as he and Orton stare off. Orton goes to climb the ladder, but Kane grabs it. Orton stops, but Kane just holds it. Orton pulls down the two belts, as Kane puts the ladder out of the ring. Kane goes to Chokeslam Roman, as Orton stops him. Orton puts the belts down, and goes for a punt. Roman hits a Spear to Orton and then to Kane. Roman grabs the championship titles to end the show.

The show begins with highlights from Raw, when John Cena took on Kane in a Stretcher Match to qualify for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match. During the match, Orton and Rollins attacked Cena. Ambrose makes the save, but takes a Chokeslam from Kane. Cena throws the steps into Kane, and manages to win the match to qualify.

John Cena make is welcomed to the ring. Cena speaks of the two championships hanging over him, saying it is a symbol of excellence. Cena brings everyone up to speed on the events of the last six months. The belts were unified, Batista returned and left, and Daniel Bryan won the title. However, Bryan was injured and now there is need for a new champion. There will be a ladder match, where is Cena says it is the start of a bad joke. However, the joke ends when they all enter the ring. Cena saves the punchline, saying he will put them in line and punch them all in the face. Alberto Del Rio interrupts.

Del Rio says he was the first person to qualify, and will be the first to win the title. Del Rio says Cena may not remember how dangerous he is, but says he will by standing as the champion. Sheamus says nobody really gives a damn about what Del Rio has to say. Sheamus says the biggest challenge is him, saying by the time the match is over, he will be World Heavyweight and United States Champion. Paul Heyman says he guarantees a champion that has a full time strategist in his corner, ensuring they will all lose. Similar to how Brock Lesnar conquered the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania, Cesaro will walk out the winner. Roman Reigns enters the ring, saying since Seth Rollins stabbed him in the back he has had issues trusting. Reigns says he doesn’t care how many there are or who they think they are, but not a single one will stop him now. Randy Orton says Roman finally learned he shouldn’t trust anybody, but he is still the face of the company. Orton says Roman will not run through him, and the titles will come home. Roman chases Orton, as they fight on the floor. Del Rio and Cesaro then attack Cena and Sheamus. Cesaro and Del Rio are thrown to the floor.

4 on 3 Handicap Match: Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio vs. United States Champion Sheamus, Roman Reigns and John Cena

Shemaus and Cesaro lock up, as Cesaro is backed into the corner. Cesaro takes Shemaus down, as he tags Wyatt. Bray decks Shemaus in the corner, but is hit with a High Knee. Wyatt and Cesaro get in each others face, after Cesaro tags himself in. Sheamus and Cesaro trade strikes, as Shemaus hits a Front Powerslam. Cena is tagged, as he connects with a Bulldog and Big Boot. Del Rio is tagged, as he takes Del Rio to the corner. Shemaus is tagged, as he hits Del Rio. Alberto connects with a kick, as Cesaro is tagged again. Cesaro connects with a Big Boot and Suplex. Sheamus hits an Irish Curse. Pin, but a kick out. Sheamus connects with clubs to the chest, and knocks him to the floor.

Del Rio locks in a Headlock, as he kicks Sheamus. Del Rio is hit with a Rolling Senton. Orton and Cena are tagged, as Orton is hit with a Five Knuckle Shuffle. All the opponents brawl on the floor, as Orton hits a DDT to Cena. Orton attacks Cena in the corner, as Wyatt is tagged. Wyatt tackles Cena in the corner, following with another. Cena kicks Wyatt, but is hit with a Side Slam. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio kicks Cena’s arm, and dives for Cena. Del Rio falls to the floor, as Cesaro helps him back in. Orton is tagged, as he connects with a Scoop Slam. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro is tagged, as he attacks Cena with a Vertical Suplex. Pin, but a kick out. Cena gets away from Cesaro, but is hit with a Swiss Death. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio is tagged, as he connects with an Enziguri. Pin, but a kick out. Del Rio goes top rope, but Cena hits a Dropkick. Del Rio connects with a Superkick. Pin, but a kick out. Cesaro is tagged, as he kicks Sheamus off the apron. Reigns is tagged, as he cleans house. Roman connects with a Spear to Del Rio for the win.

Winners: Roman Reigns, John Cena and Sheamus (Pinfall)

Backstage: Byron Saxton is with Randy Orton. Byron asks Randy about having to deal with Big Show. Orton says that he wouldn’t be enthusiastic about facing Show, but he stuck his nose where it didn’t belong. The craziest things can happen when you least expect it. Just ask Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

Big Show versus Randy Orton (with Triple H)
Orton with punches but Show puts Orton in the corner and Show with punches and a chop. Orton goes to the floor and then he returns to the ring. Orton with kicks but Show backs Orton into the corner. Show sets for the Shhhh chop but Orton with a thumb to the eye. Orton with a running clothesline into the corner that has no effect on Show. Show gets his foot up when Orton charges into the corner again but Orton drops down to hyperextend the knee.

Show with an elbow and Orton goes to the floor. Orton talks to Hunter before going back into the ring. Show with a head butt to Orton and Orton goes down. Orton goes to the floor and Show follows. Orton kicks Show as Show tries to get back into the ring but Show pulls Orton to the floor and Show chops Orton.

Show picks up Orton but Show gets distracted by Hunter and Orton sends Show head first into the ring post. Orton kicks Show in the head to keep him on the mat. Orton with a third kick and he gets a near fall. Orton with a reverse chin lock. Show with a bear hug but Orton returns to a sleeper. Show with a side slam to get out of the hold. Both men are down and the referee starts his count.

Show with clotheslines to Orton followed by an Irish whip and a running butt splash into the corner. Orton stops the running shoulder tackle with a drop kick. Orton stomps on Show while Show is on the apron. Orton kicks Show and then he kicks Show in the head as Show hangs on the top rope. Orton sets for a super IEDDT and he hits it.

Orton turns around and he pounds the mat to set up for the RKO but Show pushes Orton away and Show with a spear to Orton. Show sets for the knockout punch but Hunter gets on the apron. Show grabs Hunter and Orton but Seth Rollins with a springboard knee to the head and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Big Show (by disqualification)

After the match, Orton with an RKO to Show. Hunter gets a chair and he brings it into the ring. Orton holds up Show for Rollins to hit Black Out on the chair. Rollins with a second Black Out to Show on the steel chair.

Backstage: Kane tells Orton and Batista to put their problems aside and stop being selfish. They have two things in common. Daniel Bryan and the Shield. Orton says that there are three things in common. They also have to deal with the Usos. Kane wants to deal with Daniel Bryan. Batista wants to rip his head off. Orton points out that he has the next title match. Kane says that they all need each other and they all answer to a higher Authority. Kane leaves the office and Batista asks Orton if he answers to anybody. Orton says he never has and never will.

Kane, Randy Orton, and Batista versus Daniel Bryan, Jimmy & Jey Uso
Jey and Batista start things off and they lock up. Batista backs Jey into the corner and he misses a punch. Jey with punches to Batista and the referee pulls him out of the corner. Jey with a thrust kick and wrist lock. Jimmy tags in and he chops Batista. Jimmy with a kick to Batista but Batista with a spinebuster and he gets a near fall.

Orton tags in and he punches and kicks Jimmy as he works on the taped ribs. Orton takes time to pose and point at Daniel Bryan. Orton rips the bandage around the ribs and then he punches Jimmy. We are back and Kane with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot from Jimmy. He goes to the turnbuckles but Kane with an uppercut and he gets a near fall. Batista tags in and he kicks Jimmy in the injured ribs. Batista with shoulders to the back while Orton holds Jimmy in the corner and he sends Jimmy into the turnbuckles while Jey distracts the referee.

Batista with a forearm to Jimmy and Orton tags in. Orton slingshots Jimmy’s throat into the bottom rope and Orton gets a near fall. Orton mocks Jimmy by holding his arm out. Jimmy with punches but Orton with a knee. Orton drops Jimmy’s midsection across the top rope and he gets a near fall. Orton with a waist lock and he puts his body weight on Jimmy.
