After the match: the lights go out and then they go back on but the ring only contains Orton and a lamb mask.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Randy tells Bray all you do is talk. You say you’re the face of fear and he finally know what that means. You are the face of fear because you are afraid. You are afraid of him. You were afraid of him on Sunday so you attacked him from behind. It did not work. You are not the first and you won’t be the last. Randy says he is in the ring by himself so if you have the balls, come to the ring and face your fear.

Bray appears on the TitanTron and he says a wise man knows when to stay down. This world we live in is cruel and unfair. He gave Randy a gift. He gave him a way out. All you had to do was stay down and you didn’t. Instead you chose to embarrass him. Bray says he did not like that. He knows what he must do. He cannot stop. Until death do us part. Not fire, daggers, or bullets will end this. Don’t sleep. DO NOT SLEEP.

The lights go out and then they go back on and Bray is at ringside behind Orton. Bray sits on the announce table and he removes his hat and vest. Randy waits for Bray, but Bray is not going to fight him. The lights go out and they come back on and Erick Rowan is in the ring and he attacks Randy from behind. Bray introduces himself to Randy and he says that is his game. He eradicates the infected. If you really do have voices in your head and they tell you what to do, he hopes they tell you to run. Run Randy. Run.

Randy’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage and then he goes at the Ortonly pace to the ring. Randy tells Bray the voices in his head, they are asking who the hell does this guy think he is. Bray thinks that Randy is damaged because he has staples in his head? Randy says he has been damaged for a long time and that gives him his charm. From one damaged man to another, he tells Bray he has his attention. Bray says that is what he wanted. That is the predator he wanted to see. That is the courage that he appreciates. You are no longer the predator in this situation. You are damaged. You are weak. Bray says that he is the predator now. You should know better than anyone what a predator does best. He kills. At Backlash, he will cut the serpent’s head off and put it on his mantle like the trophy you are.

Randy says he has played that game with many people before and he is still standing here. Randy mentions the scars from Cactus Jack and The Undertaker. Those are not the scars you have to worry about. They are the internal scars and the demons inside. Maybe that is why he half ass respects Bray. He knows Bray has demons too. So Bray Wyatt wants Randy Orton at Backlash. You got it. Randy says fear . . . he is not afraid of Bray. He is not afraid of a man who calls himself a God. Randy says he is not afraid of kicking Bray’s ass . . . right now. Orton goes into the ring and the lights go out.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Randy says he bets people did not expect to see him here tonight, but here he is. He says if you couldn’t tell by the ten staples holding his head together, he was in one hell of a fight on Sunday night against Brock Lesnar. Randy says he knew what he was getting into, but he would have rather been carted out unconscious than what happened. Shane thought by intervening he did the right thing, but their paths will cross again.

Bray Wyatt’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Bray asks Randy how is his head. He says he saw what Brock did to him and he saw the look in your eyes change. It went blank. There is nothing like laying there with you head busted open to remember that you are just a man. You are a great man, but just a man. A man who hurts, a man who suffers. A man who dies. Bray says he is not just a man. He is a god. A God can never die. You will find all about it . . . in time.

We start off with Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon talking about how they will show that Team Blue is best at SummerSlam. They also have Randy Orton sign the contract for his match with Brock Lesnar. Heath says he watched last week’s Smackdown and he reminds Daniel and Shane that he stood toe to toe with Brock Lesnar. Shane says he will not be disrespected by Heath. Heath says they have a big pickle and Daniel says there is no pickle. Randy says he has an idea and he takes a bite of the apple and we go to the opening video.

Randy says he has known Brock for fifteen years and he points out that he is the legend killer so he does not have to worry about that. It only takes one RKO to get to Viperville. Alberto asks Randy if he is kidding. Viperville sounds like a joke for something that would be at Disneyland. Randy says he will give Alberto a VIP ticket and he tells him it is a bumpy ride. Alberto tells Randy we will see if he can do it with a broken arm.
