Rusev versus Chad Gable

Maybe Cena waved his flag around at Battleground, but he did not beat him. Rusev says that nobody can beat him. He has no opponent for SummerSlam because everyone is afraid of him.

Randy Orton’s music interrupts Rusev’s music and he makes his way to the ring and walks around the ring before he can get a mic. Orton says if he was Rusev, he wouldn’t want Randy to get in the ring either. Rusev lets Orton enter the ring. Randy says that Rusev has never beaten him. Orton says he is not afraid of Rusev either. If you want an opponent at SummerSlam, look no further because you have one here. Rusev laughs and speaks in Romanian and the crowd ‘whats’. Orton avoids a clothesline and Orton hits an RKO.

Randy Orton’s music interrupts Jinder and he appears on the stage. Randy says Jinder is either the bravest SOB or he is not that bright. You are choosing to be locked up in that prison with him? You are making a conscious decision to lock yourself up like an animal. The Singh Brothers were the only reason you took his title from him in the first place. We will be locked in this Punjabi Prison. There will be no escape. There will be no running and no hiding. Randy climbs the outer cage and he says he has nothing to lose. You took his title and embarrassed his family. You tried to take his dignity and you left him for dead. Randy climbs higher. He says he has nothing to lose while Jinder has everything to lose. You are the fiftieth WWE Champion ever. You have the weight of the entire country of India on your shoulders. You have the weight of 1.3 billion souls on your back.

What will happen when those 1.3 Billion souls call you a disgrace. Orton climbs to the top of the outer cage. This Sunday, this will be his view when he leaves your jacked up ass in the ring. This is his view before he takes back what is his. This will be your view when you hear ‘YOUR NEW WWE CHAMPION . . . Randy Orton’.

Aiden English is in the ring. He sings that he is the Shakespeare of song, the Mozart of melodies when Randy Orton’s music interrupts Aiden. Aiden asks Randy if he is finished because he wasn’t done. English hits Orton from behind with the mic and then hits him in the head. English sends Orton into the ring steps. Aiden returns to the ring and he resumes his song and we go to split screen so we cannot hear him singing.

After the match: They return to the ring and Orton looks around and he twists to the mat for an RKO and he hits it. Jinder Mahal appears on the stage with the Singhs and Jinder says the United States is the home of prejudice and the land of ignorance. You disrespect him for the way he talks and the color of his skin. Despite that, he is still your WWE Champion. If he could, he would take each and every one of you and put you in the Punjabi Prison. Watch what he does to Randy Orton at Battleground. He will destroy Randy’s once great legacy. Jinder says he will talk in Punjabi but Randy interrupts.

You think you have the advantage at Battleground. Nothing will stop him from punishing your ass in the Punjabi Prison. He might as well RKO your ass back to India. Nobody likes you, but it is not how you speak, how you look or where you come from. They hate you because you are a jackass.

Randy Orton is in the ring and he is sitting in the middle. We see Orton giving Aiden an RKO during the commercial break. Randy says he is not leaving the ring until he gets what he wants. He throws the chair out of the ring and he reminds us that he tore into the WWE Champion last week. We take a look at what happened unless you missed it, or forgot. Randy says that pales in comparison to what he is going to do to Jinder if he does not get what he wants and that is a title match. You may ask why does Randy deserve a rematch? If he does not get it, he will go into the back and find Jinder and beat the holy hell out of him. After the show, he will beat the holy hell out of him in the parking lot. Then he might bump into Jinder tomorrow. If that does not do the job, next week, in whatever city they will be performing in, he will get there early and beat the holy hell out of Jinder.

Randy says it looks like he is going to the back to kick some ass. Before he can do any ass kicking, Shane McMahon’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Shane makes sure to do the Shane-O Shuffle when he gets into the ring. Shane reminds Randy they go back a long time and they are live in San Diego. Randy cannot threaten the safety of the WWE Champion. Randy asks Shane if he is going to fire him and he tells Shane to fire him. Randy says he will buy a ticket in every building and risk being arrested because Jinder disrespected him in front of his family. Shane can do the easy thing and give him a match or he can do the hard thing. Shane says the Singhs crossed the line at Money in the Bank, but you have done similar things in the past. Shane says he has never seen that look in Randy’s eye. Shane says he can empathize with Randy and Randy has his rematch. Randy will face the WWE Champion at Battleground and there will be a stipulation. Jinder Mahal will get to choose that stipulation.

Tom Phillips talked to Randy Orton about Money in the Bank. Tom asks Randy about losing in his home town. Randy says he took his eyes of the prize and it cost him the match. Randy says he has been there before and he knows how the numbers game works. He can deal with that. He cannot deal with people disrespecting his family. This is not about his 14th title reign, it is about Jinder crossing the line and it is far from over. He will hurt Jinder and he will hurt him bad. He does not care if he does it to Jinder or the Singhs. He will go to India and rain down RKOs on Jinder’s entire family.
