Renee Young is in the interview area with Sheamus, Big Show, and Randy Orton. Renee asks them how they have worked together since the decision was made. Randy says that they have a common enemy. Sheamus says that he has put his problems with Big Show aside until Mania. Show says that Sheamus is the one who had the issues. Sheamus says that he couldn’t trust Show at first. Orton tells them they need to work together because they have a match tonight. Orton says that they are on the same page and that is bad news for their opponents tonight as well as The Shield.

Big Show, Randy Orton, and Sheamus vs. Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, and Cody Rhodes

Orton and Cesaro start things off and they lock up. Cesaro with a side head lock but Orton with a back elbow. Orton with a European uppercut and Sheamus tags in. Sheamus sends Cesaro into the corner and he punches and knees him. Cesaro with a boot to Sheamus followed by a European uppercut and forearm. Sheamus with a short arm clothesline and he tags in Show.

Cody is tagged in and he is not anxious to get into the ring. Show gives Cody a free shot. Show with punches and chops to Cody and then he chops Cesaro. He asks Sandow if he wants one and Damien goes to the floor. Show with a slam and we go to commercial.

We are back and Orton is tagged in and he kicks Sandow. Orton sends Sandow into the turnbuckles and he punches Sandow. Orton with a European uppercut to Sandow and then Sandow backs Orton into his corner. Sandow with shoulders and Orton punches and kicks his way out of the corner but Sandow with a kick to stop Orton.

The in-arena portion of Smackdown began with Miz TV and Miz already in the ring. Miz introduced his guests, Randy Orton and Sheamus, who were already in the ring. Talk about saving time. Miz asked about Big Show being inserted as their partner in the six-man tag and Orton noted Show did attempt to save them on Raw. Sheamus said neither he nor Orton trust Big Show, but then again, Orton doesn’t trust anyone. He said they’re in survival mode at this point. He said Show needs them as much as they need Show. Orton continued the clichés, saying it’s better to be with the devil you know than the devil you don’t know. Miz then introduced Big Show, who actually got an entrance. Michael Cole, Josh Mathews and JBL were ringside to handle announcing duties. I wonder if JBL had good cable reception on the mountain he climbed in order to keep up with the happenings on WWE TV.

Miz brought up his previous association with Show and how that ended, saying he trusts Show about as far as he can throw him. Show said he didn’t like either of his partners, but if they work together, not even The Shield can stop them. Sheamus said they’ve had wars together and Show said, “true that.” That just sounded wrong. Sheamus asked Show how he knows that Show won’t high-tail it when things get tough. He noted that if he just tucked-tail and ran, he wouldn’t have beaten Sheamus for the title. Good point. Sheamus and Show almost came to blows until Orton separated them. Miz couldn’t believe Orton was the voice of reason. Show and Sheamus continued arguing until soon-to-be Hall-of-Famer and Smackdown general manager Booker T. came out.

Randy Orton, Sheamus, and Big Show were arguing backstage. I guess it was more like Show and Sheamus arguing while Orton stayed out of it until he finally told them they need to get along or they’ll be sitting ducks for The Shield. He walked away as Show and Sheamus stayed silent.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. The Rhodes Scholars make their way to the ring. Damien requests silence, saying what happened on Raw was a professional and managerial abomination. Not only were their victory taken from them, but were put in a match against Sheamus and Orton. Damien is about to tell a story of his uncle, but Rhodes says they don’t deserve it. Rhodes says they ruined their night, and now they will ruin theirs.

Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow)
Rhodes and Sheamus lock up, as Sheamus connects with a Headlock Takeover. Sheamus runs the ropes, and takes down Cody with a shoulder. Cody attacks Sheamus to the corner, whipping him. Cody does a Float Over, but is caught. Rhodes gets away, tagging Damien. Sandow is hit with an Elbow Drop, and is taken to the corner. Sandow whips Sheamus, but is reverses. Damien is hit in the gut with a shoulder, followed by a Knee Lift to the face. Sheamus goes for White Noise, but Sandow gets out. Sandow is put on the apron, having his chest beaten in. Cody runs to Sheamus, but is hit in the face. Cody falls to the floor, as Damien snaps Sheamus’ neck against the ropes. Damien drags Sheamus to the floor, as Cody connects with a Disaster Kick off of the announce table.

Sheamus hits Cody with fists, but is taken down with a Dropkick. Pin, but a kick out. Rhodes hits Sheamus back while leaning on the second rope. Sandow is tagged, as he punches Sheamus’ chest. Sandow rolls to the floor, taking Sheamus’ upper body over the apron. Sandow elbows him, but Sheamus fights back with headbutts. Rhodes is tagged, as he takes Sheamus away from Orton. Sandow is tagged, as he dominates Sheamus with fists. Sandow locks in a Front Facelock, following by attacking Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus fights back, but is taken back down. Sandow is hit with a boot, as he skins the cat from the corner. Sheamus hits the Battering Ram to Sandow, as he tags Orton. Rhodes is tagged too. Orton cleans house, following with a Scoop Slam. Orton connects with an Exploder Suplex, following by putting Rhodes on the ropes. Orton connects with a Rope Hung DDT. Sandow hits Orton, but is taken out with a Brouge Kick. Orton connects with an RKO to Rhodes for the win.

Winners: Sheamus and Randy Orton via pinfall

Sheamus vs. Big Show
Show begins by throwing punches, but is put in the corner by Sheamus. Show is kicked, but fights off Sheamus in the opposite corner. Sheamus gets out, but is hit with a Spear. Sheamus rolls to the floor, as Show chops him on the chest. Sheamus is rolled back into the ring, as Show gets on the the apron. Sheamus hits Show’s head on the turnbuckles, and goes for 10 hits to the chest. Shamus manages a few, but Show drags him to the floor. Show throws Sheamus behind the barricade, near the time keepers.

Show pulls Sheamus’ elbow over his head. Sheamus stands out, hitting Show. Sheamus runs the ropes, but is caught in a Sidewalk Slam. Pin, but a kick out. Show goes to the second rope, as Sheamus goes to pick him up. Show gets away, picking up Sheamus in a Powerbomb. Show dr0ps Sheamus backwards, in what looks like an Inverted Powerbomb. Show chops Sheamus in the corner many times. Show is headbutt, and kicked. Sheamus gets the upperhand, with Axe Handles and Running Knee Lifts. Sheamus is caught in a Chokeslam after going top rope, but reverses it into a DDT. Sheamus goes for White Noise, but ducks a KO Punch. Sheamus connects with White Noise, calling for a Brouge Kick. Show rolls to the floor, as Sheamus tackles him off of the apron. Show rolls Sheamus back into the ring, but is caught with a Brouge Kick off the apron. The Shield interrupt. Randy Orton comes into the ring, standing with Sheamus. The Shield come in to attack.

Winner: Sheamus via disqualification

Big Show gets in the ring, cleaning house of the Shield. Sheamus, Show and Orton all take out the Shield. Show follows with a KO Punch to Sheamus. Orton than does an RKO to Show.

Backstage: Randy Orton and Sheamus speak about Orton’s match with Big Show later tonight. Sheamus says he will watch his back for the Shield during the match, Randy thanks Sheamus for his help, and walks away.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. A highlight from Raw is shown, when Randy Orton connects with an RKO to Seth Rollins from behind. Orton runs to the crowd. Big Show makes his way to the ring.

Randy Orton vs. Big Show
Randy and Show lock up, as Show pushes Orton down. Orton throws fists at Show leading him to the corner. Show puts Orton in the corner, going for a chop. Orton reverses, putting Show in the other corner. Show is punched in the face ten times. Show pushes Orton away, following with a headbutt. Show connects with a fist to a cornered Orton. Show connects with a chop from the corner. Show connects with a gut punch. Orton tries to fight back, but is chopped in the corner again. Show whips Orton to the corner, splashing him. Show runs the ropes, but is dropkicked to the floor.

The show begins with a highlight from Elimination Chamber showing Alberto Del Rio defeating Big Show. Jack Swagger is shown winning the Chamber match. Also, The Rock is shown revealing the new WWE Championship. John Cena and CM Punk will have a match on Raw, where the winner will challenge the Rock for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. Cena is shown staring at the Rock, but is attacked from behind by CM Punk.

Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio makes his way to the ring with Rodriguez. Del Rio says at Elimination Chamber, he retained his Championship. Del Rio says he is now going to Wrestlemania. Del Rio says he found out his opponent would be Jack Swagger. With Swagger’s new attitude, Swagger thinks he is what’s wrong in America. Del Rio says he has seen all the videos, speaking about the problem being immigrants. Del Rio says this country was built by hard working people, immigrants included. Del Rio says that is why America is so great, and as a result of the American Dream, he is the World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio says Swagger claims to be the “Real American,” but is only a real jackass. Del Rio says immigrants don’t look for hand-outs, but would like to lay his hand out across Swagger’s face. Randy Orton interrupts.

Orton says he will do his best to stay calm, cool and collected. Orton says something was taken from him at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Orton says the chance was taken by Jack Swagger. Orton says he would have done the exact same thing, but Orton wants to take out his frustration on Swagger tonight. Orton asks Del Rio to step aside for tonight, because he wants to take on Swagger. Booker T interrupts.
Booker says he wants to have a Champion vs. Champion match, as Alberto Del Rio will face Wade Barrett. Also, Jack Swagger will face Randy Orton.
