Paul Heyman introduces himself and he says that he knows you have been sitting on the edge of your seats to see the greatest combat sports athlete. Paul introduces the Beast of the Broctogon and the Viper Slayer . . . Brock Lesnar. Paul says on August 21st from the Barclays Center his client BROCK LESNAR will entertain you. Paul questions whether he advocated his client will entertain you? Brock’s form of entertainment is not the same style of entertainment they try to market and sell in the WWE. BROCK LESNAR’s form of entertainmetn is politically incorrect and . . . violent. Paul says he is not supposed to say that word but he is standing next to Brock Lesnar and he can say any damn word he wants to say. Brock is not here to put his stamp on the new era. He does not have to step up to the new era. The new era needs to step up to Brock Lesnar. Brock is not here to curry favor with Mick Foley, Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, or any one in the locker room. That means Randy Orton. Paul asks Brock if he heard of Randy Orton. He is a third generation superstar. He is a twelve time WWE Champion. He possesses the great equalizer, the RKO. They say Randy is one RKO away from victory. They say if Randy Orton hits an RKO on Brock, Randy will shock the world the way that Brock shocked the world at Wrestlemania 30. Where does Randy Orton get these ideas? Maybe they are the voices in his head. Paul asks how many of these voices are telling you that Brock Lesnar is going to beat your ass at SummerSlam and drag you down to Suplex City. If those voices are not telling you that, those voices are full of mularkey. If your voices are telling you that and you are not listening to them, Paul asks Randy to listen to the wise old Jew. Randy Orton is going to beat your ass and drag you down to Suplex City. Paul says that they should take the victory out of the equation. Maybe they should talk about survival. Maybe you won’t go to the hospital. Maybe you will wrestle again in the year 2016. You will not get Brock in the position for the RKO.

Randy Orton’s music interrupts and the pants wearing streak is over at one show. Miz says it is good to see Randy and he welcomes Randy to MizTV. Randy says he was in the back and he heard Miz’ opening monologue and since it sounded like Miz was talking about him, he came out. Randy says Miz was wonderful on the mic and he showed that he is an expert at playing with himself. Miz says Randy is like the Blair Witch Project. He wants to know why Randy interrupted when he has a match in four weeks against Brock Lesnar. Randy reminds Miz he made a good living killing legends. He is going to Suplex City and it will be a long bumpy road. It will only take one RKO to send Brock’s ass to Viperville.
Miz says it is a shame that Randy accepted the match with Lesnar because SummerSlam will be his last. Randy says SummerSlam won’t be his last match, but it also doesn’t have to be his first match back. Why not have his first match back tonight? Why not have that return take place against the Intercontinental Champion? Miz asks everyone if they want to see that match and after they appear interested in the match, he says no. You don’t just get a chance at the Intercontinental Title. Randy says the title does not have to be on the line, so why not something between friends. Miz says they are friends since he beat Randy for the WWE Title. He says he is not falling for Randy’s tricks. Randy asks Miz if he is afraid of getting his ass whipped in front of Miz’ wife. Maryse tells Randy how dare you talk about her husband like that Her husband accept that challenge.

Highlight Reel with Chris Jericho interviewing Randy Orton
Big pop for Orton. He said for the last nine months, he’s been enjoying his time with his wife and his kids but returning to the ring made him realize what’s been missing – being out here in front of tghe people. He said that he’s enjoying it so much he doesn’t care that he has to share it with Chris Jericho. Jericho said he should be thanking him because Orton gets to make his return on the Highlight Reel with the best in the world at what he does. He said that just by being in the ring with Jericho, Orton’s being put on a different level. Orton said he’s in a good mood but that could change really quick. Jericho mocked the RKO out of nowhere and said that if Orton isn’t careful, he might get hit with a Codebreaker out of nowhere.
Jericho said he’s going to catch Orton up on what’s happened since he’s been gone. He reviewed the brand split and that Orton is going to Smackdown while he’s going to Raw, kissing up to Stephanie McMahon in the process. He said the WWE champion is a barbarian who put 69 tacks into his flesh. He started whining but said it wasn’t about him, but about Randy. He said he wanted to give Randy something that he needed to help him against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam – the gift of Jericho. Orton began knocking Jericho’s haircut, saying he thought for a second he was on the Ellen Degeneres show because of it. The fans chanted, “Ellen.” Jericho told the fans to shut up and warned Orton that Lesnar was a force of nature who was coming for Orton. He showed all sorts of footage of Lesnar. Jericho talked up what a badass Lesnar was. Orton said he asked for the match because what would it mean that after nine months, he came back and beat Fandango. That was a shot at Jericho, who once lost to Fandango at Wrestlemania.
Jericho said that was cute but Lesnar was going to kick Orton’s ass and take him to Suplex City. Orton said he’s well aware and he knows Lesnar is going to suplex him over and over to get to Suplex City but it only takes one RKO to get to Viperville “no enhancement needed.” Jericho said that something tells him Orton is going to pay for that little comment. Jericho said that Brock said that Orton has been avoiding him for 15 years, that he was a coward and was going to tear his shoulder apart. Jericho passed on that Lesnar said Orton was a stupid idiot. He mocked Orton and acted like Orton wasn’t going to do a “damn thing” to him. He told Orton to go worry about Lesnar and to stay out of his business. Orton teased a RKO but then acted like he was just kidding, then snapped it. Good segment. Orton looked the happiest he’d been on camera in a LOOOOOONG time.
Randy Orton’s music plays and he comes to the ring. Randy says that even though he is from St. Louis, he loves Chicago. After tonight, he is going to be able to drive home and sleep in his own bed. Randy says that he came out and mentions that while Dean was in Saudi Arabia representing the WWE, he was fighting the Wyatts. Randy says that he heard that at Hell in a Cell, you are going to be in the fight of your life against Luke Harper and Braun Strowman. Randy mentions that he will be Dean’s partner. If they want to win this fight . . . Dean says he knows how they are going to win this fight. He says that they will do well. He has been fighting the Wyatts for years and the line to knock the beards off those goons starts behind him and he tells Randy to follow him. Randy says that Dean is a talented guy and has done a lot in a short time in the WWE. When you were dreaming of becoming a WWE Superstar, Randy says that he was hearing voices in his head. He does not play well with others and neither does Dean. If there is someone he can see eye to eye with on this issue, it is Dean. If they are to end the war on the Wyatts and they need to be smart and follow his lead. Dean says he is not real good at taking direction. Randy says he is not either and he is not someone who will stand on the sidelines while Dean has fun. Dean says that he does not know if he can trust Randy. Randy says that there are times when he cannot even trust himself.
Before Dean and Randy can continue, we get the NEW DAY. Xavier says they are sorry to break up this heartfelt moment, but they slayed and stood tall at the end of Raw and all you can talk about are the Wyatts? Big E says he thought they were AmBROS. Kofi says you are talking about what you are talking about when you should be talking about the New Day. Xavier says they did the impossible. They took out Dolph Ziggler and redefined the term ‘Show Off’. They took care of the Dudley Boyz and turned Dudleyville into a retirement community. They took out WWE’s crowning achievement . . . JOHN CENA. Big E tells John that they can see him. They saw him last week laid out in the center of the ring at the hands of the New Day. They do a Bear hand growl.
Kofi says they accomplished more in one day than any team ever ever ever ever ever ever ever did. Xavier reminds Dean-O that the Shield never did that. Big E asks if the Authority ever did? Oh No Did Evolution? No. What about Legacy? No. Xavier asks Randy how many groups has he been a member of and Kofi says that Randy gives a new meaning to Groupie. Big E says that they have a new slogan. Out with the old and in with the New Day. Xavier tells Randy to do what Derrick Rose should do and sit on the bench so they can bask in the greatness of the New Day. Kane shows up on the TitanTron and he says the inmates are not running the asylum, he is . . . until the Authority shows up. He has a poster in his office that says if you play with fire you get burned. He says it is a fire safety poster. Kane tells the New Day if they think they are the top team in the WWE, they can face Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton.
