Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship
Rollins pushes Ziggler away on the Hesitation DDT and Rollins hits an enzuigiri and gets a near fall. Rollins with a back heel kick and kick to the chest. Rollins with another back heel kick and he sets for Black Out but Ziggler moves. Mercury distracts the referee and Noble drops Ziggler on the top rope. Rollins sends Ziggler shoulder first into the ring post. Rollins hits Black Out but Randy Orton hits an RKO and the referee stands there and does nothing about it.
Winner: Seth Rollins (by Disqualification)
After the match: Orton stares at Noble and Mercury and then he leaves the ring.
Kane walks past Orton and wonders what was he doing.
Backstage: Stephanie tells Hunter you cannot trust Randy Orton. Orton enters and he wants to know if they saw what just happened. Orton says that he was making a statement. He wants Seth Rollins one on one tonight.
Stephanie asks why would the co-captains face each other.
Orton says that is the biggest load of garbage he has heard in his life. Maybe he should be part of Team Cena at Survivor Series. He did what neither of them had the stomach to do last week when he put Rollins down. He will continue to do it until . . .
Hunter tells Orton to stop. He tells Randy that he needs him on his team. He needs him. He needs Randy on Team Authority. He also needs Seth Rollins. Hunter asks Randy if he understands what is at stake. Everything is at stake. If he burns, we all burn. We are all in this together. There is no forgive and forget. He sees the look in Orton’s eye. He needs the Viper. He needs the guy who for twelve years, he has done battle with face to face and side to side. He needs that guy to get this done.
He will give Randy his match with Seth Rollins tonight and do what you need to do. Get it out of your systems because when this is over THIS IS OVER. When it is over, you are going to help each other up and pat each other on the back. It will be scorched earth. They have to win. They will go to Survivor Series and they will win.
Orton says they have a deal.
Randy Orton’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he apologizes for breaking up this love fest. Randy is not happy with what they are saying about Seth Rollins. Why did he hear twice that he lost to John Cena at Hell in a Cell. Maybe he lost because Seth curb stomped him on Monday night.
Randy says that he is still seeing stars and maybe he should re-enter Anger Management. Maybe the Authority didn’t handle it and that is why he is going to deal with it.
Orton attacks Rollins but he is pulled off Rollins.
Hunter tells Randy they are not doing this here or tonight. Hunter tells Randy to calm down.
Randy says that he will calm down when Rollins is dead.
Hunter tells Randy to calm down and shut up. They are not going to do this. Randy gets the night off. He tells Randy to get on his bus. Emotions are too high. Hell in a Cell is over . . .
Orton hits the RKO on Rollins.
Rollins is helped up by Mercury and Noble.
Triple H, Randy Orton, Kane, and Seth Rollins make their way to the ring.
Hunter welcomes everyone to Raw. He says that this will be an epic night. A night The Authority can be proud of. Proud of all of you. Tonight, these three men will compete in this ring in a three on two handicap match Street Fight against John Cena and Dean Ambrose.
If Cena and Ambrose make it through tonight, hell is literally hanging over their heads. On Sunday night, Cena and Ambrose will go straight to hell . . . Hell in a Cell. The most ominous and destructive structure in the history of the WWE. Unspeakable things will happen inside this cell and you can watch it on the WWE Network.
Hunter says that he can speak from experience, the cell changes your life. It is not the type of match you win, even though he has won more Hell in a Cell matches than anyone alive. It is the kind of match you survive. This Sunday, this cell puts an end to two of the WWE’s most heated rivalries.
In one match, the face of the WWE, the Viper, Randy Orton will face the fifteen time WWE Champion John Cena. In the other Hell in a Cell match, the unstable Dean Ambrose will compete against Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins.
Seth says that he loves the moniker Mr. Money in the Bank. He says that he would like a new nickname. The Undisputed Future of the WWE. He says that has a good sound to it. The important word is future because that is something that Dean Ambrose will no longer have when he beats Dean in THE main event on Sunday.
Randy interrupts Seth and he says the true main event on Sunday will involve a few Superstars who have been around the WWE longer than a hot cup of coffee. Orton says that he will end the decade long rivalry with John Cena once and for all.
Hunter says that they are both in the main event because it is a double main event. While most people want to see Seth Rollins destroy Dean Ambrose inside Hell in a Cell, but Randy’s match will not only be the end to a decade long rivalry. The winner of the match will earn an opportunity with the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar.
Orton says today is turning out to be a great day. Randy says that while the Royals have not won in 29 years, and you won’t win this year or for another 29 years, he will make H proud tonight. He will beat John Cena on Sunday and then he will beat Brock.
Hunter says that he knows Randy will make him proud. He knows Seth will make him proud. He knows that Kane will make him proud. They will not only make him proud tonight, but they will make him proud on Sunday at Hell in a Cell.
Hunter says the Authority always wins.
Backstage: Stephanie and Hunter are in the office and Randy Orton enters. He says that before he goes out and destroys Dolph Ziggler to prove that he is the best in the ring, he wants to set one thing straight. Seth Rollins says that he is the future of this company, but that means the future is a long way off. He wants the spotlight, which is okay as long as he does not take Randy’s.
Randy says that he knows that Dean or Cena can beat Seth any day. Randy wants a match at Hell in a Cell. He will face the guy who does not face at Hell in a Cell. It will either be Randy Orton versus John Cena in the main event at Hell in a Cell, or Randy Orton versus Dean Ambrose in the main event at Hell in a Cell.
Dolph Ziggler versus Randy Orton
They lock up and Orton backs Ziggler into the corner and he gives a clean break. They lock up again and Ziggler backs Orton into the corner and Orton tries to punch Ziggler but Dolph blocks it and he punches Orton. Orton goes to the floor and Ziggler follows. Orton with a kick and he tries to send Ziggler into the steps but Ziggler blocks it and he sends Orton into the steps. They return to the ring and he punches Orton in the corner. Ziggler with a Stinger Splash into the corner and Orton is down. Ziggler misses a leaping elbow drop but Ziggler recovers and applies a reverse chin lock. Orton with a belly-to-back suplex to get out of the hold. Orton with a boot to the head and he gets a near fall.
Orton tries to hear the crowd and they respond. Orton tries to send Ziggler into the turnbuckles but Ziggler blocks it and he sends Orton into the turnbuckles and follows with a drop kick and Ziggler gets a near fall. Orton sends Ziggler into the turnbuckles and Orton with a boot to Ziggler and he follows by dropping Ziggler on the top rope. Orton poses and he picks up Ziggler on the apron. Ziggler drops Orton on the top rope because Orton was taking too much time. Ziggler gets a near fall and Orton rolls to the floor. Orton kicks Ziggler and Ziggler sends Orton into the ringside barrier. Ziggler rolls Orton back into the ring and he gets a near fall.
Ziggler with a rear chin lock. Orton with an Irish whip that sends Ziggler shoulder first into the ring post. Orton sends Ziggler to the apron for the IEDDT but Ziggler recovers and he sends Orton to the apron. Ziggler with a drop kick that sends Orton to the floor. Orton goes to the ramp but he turns around and sees Seth Rollins make his way to the ring as we go to commercial.
John Cena vs. Kane, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins
Rollins starts off the match and he takes off his shirt and he tags in Kane before locking up. Cena punches Kane and then he knocks Rollins off the apron with a punch. Kane with a punch and kicks. Kane with an uppercut. Orton tags in and he hits a running clothesline in the corner followed by a kick. Orton punches Cena. Cena punches back and he gives Kane an elbow on the apron. Orton with a power slam for a near fall.
Kane tags back in and he Irish whips Cena and connects with a clothesline. Rollins tags in and he punches Cena and kicks him in the corner. Rollins chokes Cena and the referee warns him. Rollins with a running forearm into the corner. Rollins taunts Cena and Cena with punches and an Irish whip but Rollins with an elbow and blockbuster for a near fall.
Rollins with a head butt and he knees Cena against the ropes and he chokes Cena. Orton punches Cena and the referee warns Orton on the apron. Cena pushes Rollins and connects with a clothesline. Cena knocks Orton and Kane off the apron. Cena with two flying shoulder tackles followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb and Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena gets Rollins up but Rollins gets to his feet and Kane with a boot and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: John Cena (by Disqualification)
After the match: Kane gives Cena a choke slam. Orton pounds the mat for the RKO and Dean Ambrose’s music plays and he has a hot dog cart. Business is about to pick up. Ambrose takes a hot dog and he starts to eat one.
Orton and Kane go after Ambrose and Dean has holstered ketchup and mustard and he sprays it in their faces. Ambrose runs them over with the hot dog cart and then Ambrose goes after Rollins.
Kane and Orton return to the ring for a three on one attack, but Cena recovers. Rollins is knocked out of the ring. Cena gives Orton an Attitude Adjustment. Cena with a clothesline to Kane and then Ambrose with a suicide dive onto Rollins.
Dean spills the contents of the cart onto Rollins and then he goes for the tongs to the ding ding. Kane hits Ambrose but Cena with an Attitude Adjustment to Kane. Rollins gets to the back.
Triple H’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage with his wife, and one of the principal owners of WWE, Stephanie McMahon.
Hunter says that this was an impressive mess. Who would have thought that they would be on the same page. They will get a chance to fight Seth Rollins, but they will have to fight each other first.
At Hell in a Cella, John Cena will go one on one with Dean Ambrose. The winner will face Seth Rollins and he will face Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell.
Stephanie says that it is official, either John Cena or Dean Ambrose will go straight to hell.
Ambrose kicks Cena and hits the double underhook DDT.
Backstage: We are back and Seth says that he could have been permanently blinded, but Hunter is laughing. Hunter tells Seth to go to the trainer.
Hunter asks Kane where Ambrose is. Kane tells Hunter that Ambrose is on his way to Cena’s locker room. Hunter tells them that they will be facing Cena and Ambrose in tag team action. Hunter tells them that they should be chomping at the bit.
Hunter hears something vibrating and they look at the briefcase. Seth returns and grabs the briefcase and says that it is an electric razor.
Backstage: Randy Orton and Kane are in the office and Randy says that they don’t care about the briefcase or any of this. Kane says that the only operation that he is directing is putting out Seth’s fires.
Stephanie interrupts and tells them that they are going to do their jobs. When Dean and Cena attacked Seth, they attacked the Authority. The Authority is a family. Seth was embarrassed by that lunatic Dean Ambrose. Seth would be by your sides tonight if he could. She reminds them that they lost last week so they should enjoy the opportunity to fight Ambrose and Cena.
Orton wants to know what the people are saying about them.
Stephanie says that Randy has gone soft. She says that they are saying the killer instinct is gone.
Kane wants to know if the people are really saying that or is Stephanie trying to get what she wants.
