Randy Orton def. Christian (Match Type: Championship Match) Orton caught him with a mid-air RKO for the win. Orton then posed for the fans to close the show.

(September 2nd) Geneva, Switzerland
Randy Orton & Sheamus def. Christian & Mark Henry (Match Type: Tag Match) RKO on Christian. Randy Orton was by far the most over guy.

(September 3rd) Paris, France

Christian got booed, Randy got cheered and the funny thing was that he blew a kiss to someone at ringside only to give them the finger because their sign read “Randy Orton future Divas Champion” (the other side of the sign read “Wrestling Observer Awards 2011: Most Overrated Randy Orton”!) Before the match started, Christian grabbed a mic and said that we would not see a RKO tonight but him lifting the belt, which got people chanting “RKO, RKO, RKO”. We got our typical great and solid match between these two, both hit their signature moves, twice Randy tried to hit Christian with his DDT from the second rope but both times Christian managed to escape. But you know what they say, third time’s a charm and down went Captain Charisma! Christian performed one hell of a Spinebuster which was very impressive. Lots of near falls, and at some point Christian managed to grab Randy for the Killswitch, we thought that was it but NO! Orton kicked out! Christian climbed on the top rope for a diving headbutt or something but Orton grabbed him in mid air and RKO! 1, 2, 3! Orton retained the title!

(September 4th) Paris, France
Sheamus & Randy Orton def.. Mark Henry & Christian (Match Type: Tag Match) (20 min, really funny Randy was in great mood jumping while touching both feet and throwing a contest : Christian did it with only one foot, Mark Henry did a “kiss my butt” and Sheamus fakes a brogue kick in Christian’s face. Cool chemistry between Randy and Sheamus)

World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton beat Christian via RKO. Special guest referee, Bret Hart put Christian in the Sharpshooter after the match.

(July 7th) Cape Town, South Africa
Six-man tag-team match with Bret Hart as the special match enforcer
Justin Gabriel, Big Show & Randy Orton vs Christian, Mark Henry & Alberto Del Rio
Bret Hart came out to loud cheers and chilled at ringside for most of the match.
Mark Henry went heel crazy during his entrance and ripped several fans posters and programmes that they paid good money for, he’s actually pretty intimidating. Match started with boo’s for Christian and cheers for Gabriel. Several spots where the heels attacked Gabriel, with Bret intervening. Action was solid and got fast and frantic at the end like the typical WWE-style six-man tags usually get.
Randy Orton won with the RKO on Christian after about 20 minutes of solid action.

(July 10th) Johannesburg, South Africa
Randy Orton, Big Show & Justin Gabriel b. Christian, Mark Henry and Alberto del Rio, with Bret Hart as ringside enforcer. There was a lot of showboating by the Heels to start the match. I now saw first-hand what a brilliant heel Christian is. His facial expressions and mannerisms alone made this match very enjoyable! As Justin started the match, a portion of the crowd on the side we were sitting were chanting “P.J. Black” as it was Justin’s name while he was wrestling in South Africa. At one stage you could see Randy asking him why the people are chanting this, and when Justin told him, you could see Randy realised that. Randy also did a lot of crowd-psyching. The faces were standing in the corner in front of where we were sitting, so with Big Show there we couldn’t really see so well! In any case, the match took a while to get underway with tests of strength and bantering to the crowd etc. The finish came when Mark tried to use a chair. Bret took it off him which distracted him long enough for Big Show to take care of him, with Justin taking care of Alberto del Rio on the outside. Randy “hulked up”, hit a couple of clotheslines and then hit the RKO on Christian for the win to send the crowd home happy.

Randy Orton beat Christian (full fledged heel now) in 16:30. Same ending as Over The Limit more or less: Christian goes for the Spear, Orton leapfrogs him, Christian goes from the 2nd rope and gets caught with an RKO for the pin.

The fans choose a street fight over 2 out of 3 falls. This was as good as their Wrestlemania match in my opinion. The pulled out everything from chairs, to the steel steps and a Singapore cane. Punk is in a league of his own as a heel at the minute. Orton won when he countered the GTS into the RKO. Awesome match.

(April 15th) – Dublin, Ireland
Randy Orton def. CM Punk
Justin Roberts said that the next match was a Superstar Challenge Match, or something like that. CM Punk was out first. Great to see him live. Out next, was surprisingly, Randy Orton, as it was scheduled to be Miz vs. Cena vs. Orton as the main event. He got a large pop, and there was no “Crowd chooses the stipulation” thing, which was weird, as Roberts had just said it was a Challenge match, which was not repeated. I was actually glad that there was no stipulation. It was a great match, and Orton brought home the win, the same way as he did at Wrestlemania XXVII, by hitting an RKO on Punk, who was springboarding off the ropes. Orton stuck around for a while, shaking hands, etc. The match was very good and went over 15 minutes.

(April 16th) – Birmingham, England

Randy Orton def. CM Punk in a street fight after RKO. Excellent quality match, Punk really playing the crowd.

(April 17th) – Nottingham, England
Randy Orton def. CM Punk.
The match was slow throughout with a lot of rest holds from Orton, although it was a really good match. The RKO was reversed a couple of times and it looked like Punk was going to get the win until an RKO out of nowhere.

(April 19th) – Cardiff, Wales
John Cena & Randy Orton def. CM Punk & WWE Champion The Miz w/Alex Riley.
Great promo by Miz, crown brought some serious hate. Really got them pumped up for the match. Punk came out and simply said “hello again.” Classic Punk. Orton out to a lot of love followed by Super Cena. Kids and women went crazy, guys wanted to kill him! Same as on TV really! Some great ‘FRUITY PEBBLES’ chants!!!! By far the best match of the evening. Fast-paced, back and forth action. Heels dominated. Double RKO and AA to win and send the crowd home happy.

(April 20th) – Salzburg, Austria
John Cena & Randy Orton def. WWE Champion The Miz w/Alex Riley & CM Punk.
Riley was banned from the ringside but he returned during the match when referee was “KO”. 15 minutes of intense ring action with many moves. The best match.

(April 21st) – Bucharest, Romania
John Cena & Randy Orton def. WWE Champion The Miz w/Alex Riley & CM Punk.
When Cena entered, the crowd went TOTALLY crazy. Same thing for Orton. Total hate for Punk and medium for The Miz. It was an amazing match to see live, a lot of counters, kick outs and excitement for the crowd. Cena kicked Miz to end the bout, but both Cena and Orton executed their finishers to send the people home happy.

(April 22nd) – Doha, Qatar
John Cena & Randy Orton def. WWE Champion The Miz w/Alex Riley & CM Punk.
Cena got the biggest pop of the night. Orton got a similar pop! Only one guy was chanting against Cena, which made Alex Riley laugh a lot.

Randy Orton vs WWE Champion The Miz – (WWE Title Match)
The Miz retained his WWE Title against Randy Orton with the Skull Crushing Finale, after Alex Riley hit Randy with his briefcase (what does he carry in there anyways?). After the match, Miz and Riley tried to hit Orton with a chair, only for Orton to hit both of them with an RKO. Crowd went crazy.

When it was time for Randy Orton’s song the crowd went wild ! He faced Sheamus in a championship match and retained his belt thanks to a picture perfect RKO.

Triple threat for the WWE Title: Sheamus vs Edge vs Randy Orton
People booed Sheamus but cheered when Edge’s music hit! By the look on his face, you could see that it bothered him a tiny bit that people cheered for him! People went nuts when Randy’s music hit! Biggest pop of the night! Edge and Randy got rid of Sheamus very rapidly so it was Edge vs Randy for 2 -3 minutes! Awesome! Sheamus came back, Edge was out and so it was now Sheamus vs Randy. Near falls, and then Edge came back and got rid of Randy. The three of them were rarely in the ring at the same. Too bad! But Randy came back and hit a double rope hung DDT. Sheamus rolled under the bottom rope and fell on the floor, Edge was still in the ring. Randy went for the RKO but Edge countered and hit the Edgecution. He was now ready for the Spear but the Viper struck and RKO! Sheamus came back, went for a Bicycle Kick but got RKOed too! And the winner of this match and still WWE champion, Raaaaaaaaaandyyyyyyyyyyy Orton!

Randy Orton def. Sheamus by DQ after Sheamus knocked down the ref.(16 minutes) After the match Orton hits an RKO on Sheamus only to set up for the Miz to attempt to cash in his MITB but is also RKO’ed by Orton.

Tokyo, Japan (August 21st, 2010) Randy Orton beat Wade Barrett.
Barrett came out first and cut a great promo, saying he’d been studying some Japanese. The crowd disagreed with his assessments of ‘Nexus-ichiban’ (number one) and ‘Japan-not ichiban.’ His lessons amounted to one word then. Barrett said he was sending out an open challenge and Orton obliged. They had about twelve minutes of a normal Orton match, solid if unspectacular. Toward the end, Otunga came out to interfere, but a miscue led to the Nexus members butting heads and Orton landing the RKO. He followed up with an emphatic second RKO before scoring the pin, which might not say good things about Nexus going forward. Barrett definitely looked comfortable with the big star though.

Randy Orton beat WWE champion Sheamus via DQ;
Sheamus retained the WWE Title. Orton was totally over. Only two people in the building were rooting for Sheamus, including my friend. For the finish, Sheamus pushed the referee to cause the DQ, with the win going to Orton. Afterward, Sheamus got a chair and tried to hit Orton with it, but Orton ducked and hit the RKO for a huge buzz from the crowd.

Nice match. Big Show played the crowd almost the entire match. Orton hit his DDT with Shows’ feet on the ropes, looked pretty cool.
