EST July 2004 | The only approved source for all things on WWE Superstar, Randy Orton.

Triple H’s music plays while the WWE roster is on the stage and Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are in the ring. Stephanie says that this is a historic episode of Raw. It is time for everyone in the arena, on the stage, and anyone who will ever don tights will need to show respect to one man.

Hunter says that the history of WWE merged with the bright future at TLC. We are here tonight to pay honor to that man. Randy Orton makes his way to the ring with a championship belt on each shoulder. He stops next to Daniel Bryan and John Cena and he raises both belts over his head. Randy says that it is nice feeling when your faith was rewarded. He says that no one had faith in him that he would win the most important match in WWE history. Everyone bought into the lie that he had been handed everything his entire career. He proved that when an opportunity presents itself, he takes it. He did it when he ascended the ladder and took those two championships and turned them into one.

Last week, he stood in this ring with twenty other former champions. None of them have accomplished what he has accomplished. When he looks at the locker room on the stage, beaming back their jealousy at him, where they are is appropriate because he is so much better than everyone.

Randy says that he is the most powerful person standing in the ring. He is the Champion of Champions. He is the World Heavyweight Champion.

John Cena calls him an idiot and Randy wants his mic turned off.

Randy says that he does not have to listen to John Cena, Daniel Bryan, or the idiots in the stands. He does not have to listen to anybody.

Stephanie tells Randy that he has to listen to them.

Randy says that he is not trying to lose his temper. He says that John is way out of line. To give Daniel Bryan a title shot is not what is best for business.

Hunter tells Randy that he agrees with Randy at this time. Daniel does not deserve an opportunity for a title match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Stephanie says that Daniel was voted Superstar of the Year. Hunter says that they listen to the WWE Universe. If that is a match that the people would like to see.

Randy says that he went through a war and was in a TLC match last night.

Hunter says that there is no better way to kick off the Champion of Champions’ new era with a main event like this.

Randy will get to silence the critics who say that Randy cannot beat this man. Randy Orton will face the Superstar of the Year.

Backstage: Hunter and Stephanie are talking in the back with Kane and Orton enters. He wants to know if this is a joke. He is fighting Daniel Bryan less than 24 hours after winning the biggest match of his life.

Stephanie reminds Orton that Daniel Bryan was almost decimated by the Wyatt Family 24 hours ago. They value Randy as their champion, the face of the company, and their friend. Randy is the first WWE Unified World Champion. It is double the work and double the responsibility.

Hunter reminds Orton that he is the top of the food chain. He cannot just say why he is the best, he has to show it. Hunter says that they have Randy’s back.

Renee Young is with Randy Orton in the interview area. Randy is congratulated and he says that he has heard that word too much. He will be facing a troll tonight. How many times does he have to beat this loser? When did the Authority start to listen to the fans? He only knows what is best for business. He tells everyone that they should bend over and kiss his ass.
