RANDY ORTON vs. JEY USO (w/Jimmy Uso and Tamina)
Cole noted the anonymous Raw GM booked the match to give Orton some warm-up work before Summerslam. Orton quickly dominated and continued to stare down Sheamus in-between moves on Jey. Orton glared down Sheamus too long after a forearm to the chest, allowing Jey to take control. The crowd rallied behind Orton, who made a trademark comeback and executed a spike DDT on Jey while staring down Sheamus. Orton then went down to the ground to tease the RKO and deliver it center ring. Orton with the cover for the win.

WINNER: Orton at 2:36. Effective squash to get over Orton as a threat for the WWE Title and on a “hot streak” going into Summerslam. (*)

Post-match: Jimmy ambushed Orton from behind while Orton was staring down Sheamus. Jimmy then picked up Orton, who fired off right hand blows. Sheamus tried a pump kick on Orton, but Orton kicked and Jimmy took the boot. Sheamus then turned around and ate an RKO center ring. Suddenly, The Miz’s music hit. Miz stormed the ring with the MITB briefcase in hand. He stared down at Sheamus, then ref Chioda presented the briefcase to Roberts. Orton was slowly walking around ringside as Sheamus was trying to get himself together in the ring. Orton then surprised Miz out of nowhere with an RKO. And cue up Orton’s theme music. Cole said the bell never rang, so the match never started and Miz still has the case. This is going to get old fast with the loose application of the “cash in” rules. Cole said the story here is Orton looking dominant heading into Summerslam, with Sheamus vulnerable. Cole gave a final plug for Orton looking strong as he posed in the ring with carnage everywhere.

Orton rocked tonite raw was awesome XD love the rko’s that hes been giving week after week i hope soon he’ll become champ once again its his time now its the perfect time for him to get his title back i loved how he was’nt gonna sit back and let miz take the easy way on gettin the title with the sweet rko orton is amazing !! Wow, that was amazing. He ducked so perfectly lol I HAD to rewind and watch it over. Then did anyone else notice the little nod of his head he did before he RKO’d Sheamus? ^_^ it was awesome in a subtle had to be watching very closely to pick up kinda way.

And I SWEAR he was about to call Miz a mofo but he stopped himself. It went somethin like “Stupid stupid stupid, MOTHER- eeeerr” lol He was on fire tonight from the facials to the win.

Another strong showing for Randy tonight, which just continues my damn fear that WWE is setting him up to look too strong going into SummerSlam.

I also read the RAW spoilers for next week (the show for next week was taped tonight) and my fear will just continue on to next week. I will not spoil anything here but you guys read if you want.

Don’t get me wrong. I have no complaints about Randy looking good on RAW with victories, RKO’s and lots of cheers from the audience. I just wish WWE wasn’t so predictable in making one challenger look strong so that they end up losing at the PPV.

As excited as I am about Orton’s pre-PPV hot streak, I can’t help but be bummed that he is going to lose (clean too, I fear) to Sheamus.

Randy will be the next muther f’n champ!!! Randy u killed it tonight on RAW! OMG! Shemus and Miz got what they deserved tonight a big ole’ R-K-O 8). RAW would be nothing w/out Randy Orton.I LOVE RANDY ORTON!!!!!!!!!

I hate to say this…but I definitely got to agree with Judy said….

Tonight was awesome. Love RKO’s from out of nowhere. He is very unpredictable so you don’t know when he’s coming or going. He’ll break his opponents at the right moment when he sees them defenseless.

I saw/read his mouth too cursing on the Miz…lol. I think he gets into it so much, which is cool. He’s so intense.

I know about this theory of the hotstreak going into the ppv, the dominant guy would lose, etc… but I’m still hoping he would win. This is the right time to give him the title. He’s the hottest thing right now and that’s been proven 3 weeks in a row by people on twitter making him trend. The WWE and Vince, especially, should bank on it.

When they said a “warm up match” they weren’t kidding, when I heard the USO’s theme hit I was actually surprised lol.
I think Orton will win at SummerSlam, but the Miz will cash it in pinning Orton unfortunently.

In my oppinoin, WWE has been making some new and I guess you could say good choices. Miz to be next WWE champ, and Kane being World Heavyweight champ is one idea I suppose.

look guys, next week isn’t going to be the last raw before summerslam. there still is another week for sheamus to get momentum and randy hits an rko at summerslam and wins. they could also be doing the same thing on raw vs nexus. the raw team is falling apart only to make nexus look powerful but they’ll win at summerslam. but nexus shouldn’t end,they should go to smackdown and feud with kane for whc. they could reveal themselves as undertaker’s attackers. anyway who’s with me that we’re gonna see RKO as champ again!!

I also agree with Judy. Sometes WWE makes on guy look too strong and more than often that guy ends up losing. But i still like to believe thay Randy will win at SS, and hopefully he will.
Oh ya and i loved how arandy slapped Miz right before he RKO’d him. Good stuff. Not to mention his interview was perfect. Short, sweet, and to the point.
