101ESPN Hometown Heroes: The Randy Orton Story

As a third-generation professional wrestler, Randy Orton had wrestling in his blood. Before being promoted to the main World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Orton trained in and wrestled for Mid-Missouri Wrestling Association-Southern Illinois Conference wrestling for a month before he was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling. In 2004, he became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion at the age of 24 and continues to wow audiences.

This was amazing. To hear about the struggles that Randy acually has faced makes me respect him alot more. They really need to make a Randy Orton dvd.

heyy have u noticed, there are 6 matches announced for this year’s wrestlemania, every PPV has around 5-6 matches unless its royal rumble or elimination chamber where some matches are long..

So where does this leave Randy orton?? + where does this leave HHH… I dont care about HHH but still RKO where do u go?

So,, what i think is why dont they team HHH and RKo for this Mania only to take over the rest pf legacy and sheamus??? what say u people?

means y dont let rko save HHH from legacy and then next week HHH asks him to give him a hand and team up with him for one time only?? to take on she anus (oops i meant Sheamus), cody and ted…….

Would absolutly be interested in an Orton DVD! – Pleasee!!

I’m wondering when he’ll write or book or they’ll do his DVD. This weekend I bought the Batista book and it’s actually good, and has a few funny stories about Randy in there if anyone is interested, :-) .

@Tarun- I was thinking the same thing after last week, where does this leave RKO and HHH for Wrestlemania this year? Especially since tonight’s make with Legacy is what I assumed would be the Wrestlemania match for Legacy. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!! I seriously, doubt they’ll leave either one of them out, they’re headliners after all!!!

@Tarun – Wrestlemania is 4 hours as opposed to the usual 3 hour PPVs and there are normally 9 or 10 matches on the card. I think it’s safe to say Randy and Legacy are getting a match, Triple H and Sheamus are getting a match, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio are getting a match and the Divas will get some kind of match.

Wow, I found out some stuff I never knew about Randy. It was nice to hear his dad, Jim Ross and Rey Mysterio talking about him. I just loved the part when he’s talking about when his daughter was being born. That was great. I hope like crazy that there will be a Randy DVD in the years to come. He’s just so darn young still. Love it.

@Ford31083

As much as I adore Randy I don’t think I could buy Batista’s book just for those stories LOL. I doubt my little town’s local library has it LOL!!

@ Gen, you’d be surprised, Batista seems to be a very interesting guy from what i’ve read of the book. I was already a Batista fan (no where near as big as Randy’s of course) but when I flipping through the book at Barnes and Noble it was such an interesting read (aside from the stories with Randy) that I had to pick it up!

Bob Orton has a sexy voice. I’m sorry people, but the deeper the better for me. If that’s how Randy’s gonna sound when he ACTUALLY starts getting older, well father time better speed things along lol

Anyways, I doubt there will be a Randy Orton DVD. By the time Vince gets his head out of his ass one DVD won’t cover anything. Randy will end up with over ten DVD’s – - and this Ortonite is buying every striking one of them! lol

Oh yeah, and about Batista’s book: It’s a good read people. I’m a Batista fan (of course not as much as I am an Ortonite :D ) and that mixed with the parts about Randy made me buy it. And I don’t regret spending the money at all :D
