Eh. Raw was so heavy on DX (HBK), Bret/Vince, and Cena. Too heavy. I missed more of Randy. He got perhaps 9 minutes in total if you count the backstage + match. I appreciate this slow Legacy split but having Sheamus knock out Randy yet again doesn’t help anyone.

It isn’t like Orton is walking out of the chamber with the strap. All this does is try (as WWE has been failing to do) to put Sheamus over to the crowd. A crowd, by which, still doesn’t care about him and still cheers for Randy. Yes, I heard the RKO chants during the Randy/Cody match.

Unfortunately, my biggest fear is that this whole thing will end with Orton not only losing at the chamber but also- losing the eventual Mania match with either Ted, Cody or both if it comes to be a triple threat situation.

…..I guess time will tell.

On the upside, has Randy ever looked hotter? That body is amazing!

RAW focused way too much on Cena.I mean the hyped a match between Ted and Cena, but we get Cena talking to Vince and Bret coming out of nowhere.
Am I the only one who thinks this Bret Hart thing is just a little bit boring? There is no way Bret Hart can go back to wrestling, same goes for Vince.
We haven’t seen Vince wrestle in a while, but Bret can’t really fake a punch.I
like Bret and all, but there’s “No chance in hell” he can get back in a ring.
Also, there wasn’t enough Randy on the show.

I REALLY enjoyed RAW tonight. It was a hell of a lot better than last week. I loved all the match ups, the HBK situation and the Legacy segment was full of awesome. I totally didn’t see the outcome of Randy and Cody’s match coming at all. I was completely shocked and that is great! I like to be surprised every now and then. I was certain that Cody was going to turn on Randy, but him coming to Randy’s aide with that chair was interesting. I’m really starting to love this storyline, it’s keeping me guessing.

I can’t wait for next week. Shaemus is going to get his ass handed to him! If Randy doesn’t win that match up next week I’m gonna riot lol!

i thought randy was the one who kicks people in head, and not sheamus ? for the past week or two it’s been sheamus ending the match-up with his kick. it kinda ruins the reputation randy has, ya know?

@Gen- I do believe Randy will get some type of revenge on Sheamus next week but he won’t pin him. The match will have a weird finish, if only to keep both men looking strong for the PPV. That being said, I will be bummed if WWE once again does a “Orton on top” at the end of a RAW before a PPV because that just solidifies him losing at the PPV. And that’s with me even realizing now that he isn’t leaving the chamber with the strap.

And is it just me or does Randy seem to be getting more ripped lately? Perhaps he is on a cut or something but I see the abs more and all. Of course, I could be seeing things because I tend to do that when he is on screen. My mind goes places…

@Judy: Dude, get out of my head LOL. I do hope Randy beats the crap out of Sheamus, but then again if he’s “on top” he’ll probably won’t walk of EC as champion. That’s just the WWE recipe. Anytime a superstar gets the upperhand before a PPV they usually lose, unless they are HHH, Cena or Taker.

Randy does look like he’s getting more ripped. I was thinking that the oil he puts on just definded those abs more but he’s been using less and he’s still looking more defined. I just blank when he comes walking down the ramp and I too go “places” LOL!

I would love to see Randy as champ, but like I’ve been saying for the last couple of weeks I just don’t see him winning the title anytime soon. I just want him to wreck havoc until he does and I NEED to see him with a win over Shaemus. It will just make my day.

I am also thinking that post Wrestlemania (win or lose), Randy will be traded to Smackdown. I can see it happening. Even though he is “the heel” on RAW, WWE is obviously pushing folks like Sheamus and even Miz. I could see them wanting to move Randy to SD so he can have programs with folks he hasn’t in quite some time. Perhaps the next time Randy is actually a champion will be the World Heavyweight Champion and not the WWE Champion.

@Judy: Now that would be interesting. I loved Randy’s feuds with Taker and Mysterio. I love him on RAW though, but I would follow him wherever.

Okay…okay. This was awesome! Short? Yes. Effective? HELL YES!!! I mean, we address the whole RR issue. We address the tension between Cody and Ted – both thinking they’re better than the other. And we even build up obvious favoritism that’s been brewing since that “lose-and-I-kick-you-out-of-Legacy-and-beat-you-down-after-test” that Randy set up for Cody and Ted back in JANUARY!!!

And the icing on the cake??? Cody’s heel persona is EXACTLY what I hoped it would be!!!! At first he BEATS Orton by taking advantage of the guy’s distraction, only to go into protect-the-leader mode and some sort of pseudo loyalty seconds after!!! Perfect! PERFECT!!!!

Oh Vince… *sniff.*…I do love you man. You and that ADD group of writer’s who chip in with such good story lines when it counts. Thank you.

I have to agree and complain about the screen time…come on, (important) people (like us) actually watch Raw for Orton and Legacy time and not some boring segments with two senior citizens. LOL

And I agree completely! Randy was onscreen for a total of eight minutes (counting backstage time here)! I couldn’t even get a good look at his newly chiseled body that has just beaten his current record for being too-hot-for-this-planet!

I was suddenly seeing an upgraded version of the cocky, lone wolf who took matters into his own hands coming back, and Vince buries us knee deep in bad jokes, and interviews with decrepit people! Not cool Vince!

But anyways, they have gotten the ball rolling! Now to wait for next week!

Just remembered something, while watching RAW last night, my sister pointed out that Randy’s tattoos from his back look diffrent.
I don’t know, couldn’t get a chance to tell..
Was she right or just hallucinating?

To tell you the truth I had tears when I watch the match between Cody and Randy but at least Cody won a match unlike last Monday against baby-face Cena, but thank heavens that Cody was smart enough to save Randy with a chair before Sheamus could do anymore damage Hopefully that next RAW will be way better then this one PS RKO 4 LIFE! Since we all seem to be starting off with how hot Randy is, let me just say: Randy Orton looked HOT! He has hair now, his body looks great, and he’s just overall amazing!

That segment was good. I have to admit though, for the first time WWE writers took a different turn with the storyline than I expected. I liked it though. The match with Randy really set up a good feud with Randy and Sheamus in the EC. I honestly didnt expect Cody to win, I thought Orton was going to beat the crap out of him :/ which was what i wanted lol. Either way it was good .
