Kofi Kingston recently sat down with the famous Sun.co.uk website for a interview. In the interview he discusses his current angle with Randy as well as what he thinks of Randy and how great it is to be working with it.

Would you describe the last two weeks as the biggest in your career?
I guess so, man. The past couple of weeks have certainly had a lot of momentum, especially with last week destroying Randy’s car. Just picking a fight with Randy Orton…you’ll have to see what happens with me and Randy, but I’m positive some good matches will be occurring.

It has been a crazy few days. For me, career-wise, it’s all about getting better. If you’re not getting better, you’re only getting worse. I’m just trying to step it up.

It was cool to be involved with the Bragging Rights pay-per-view, I thought it was very successful. The next day, being in the ring with Jericho, he’s a veteran and a legend. It’s cool to be involved in anything he is involved in.

And then destroying Randy’s car. It was not only fun, but I think people are going to look back at it and remember it.

When did you find out you were going to be working a programme with Randy Orton — that must have been a great moment?
I’m always one of the last people to find out. This whole development has been pretty recent, I still don’t know what’s in store, except that there’ll be some high-quality matches. You pick a fight with Randy Orton, you have to step up to the plate. I’m going to step up and try to hit a home run.

Randy is established as the Legend Killer, but he is very quickly becoming a legend in his own right. To be in there with him is going to be a great learning experience. The people he has been in there with — Flair, Triple H, Batista, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Edge.

I’m a student of the game, and have watched Randy for a long time. I’ve learned a lot just by watching. To be in the ring having matches against him, I’m sure I’m going to learn a whole lot from a different angle

Although I still despise Kofi for causing Randy’s beautiful head to hurt him, I just can’t step over the praise Kofi gives to Randy in this interview EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT RANDY ORTON IS THE EMBODIMENT OF GREATNESS WITH A PINCH OF EVIL PERSONIFIED (quite a hot mixture if you ask me XD) and I’m happy to see that Kofi recognizes that fact and understands the consequences of his actions against Randy that he will have to face sooner rather than later. Enjoy your short victory over Randy Kofi… because you won’t be seeing ANY daylight after this!

Damn right you do! Or he’ll eat you alive! Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing to happen. Randy’s good at putting other people over even when he beats them, so it’s good for Kofi. But really, I rather have Randy dominate than to job for Kofi, or anyone else for that matter…It’s okay if it happens like once in a while, but not like literally week in and week out.

Still, it’s good Kofi recognize Randy’s greatness.

Glad to know Kofi knows what’s coming to him. I’m really pumped to see what’s in store for this new Orton vs Kofi thing. Matches will be good I hope. They will be with Randy, but how will Kofi do?

Honestly, I wish they’d just have kill this Kofi vs Randy thing because it’s just plain baseless, but if they wish to continue with the agony, they MUST get a better plot for this feud (no Cena vs Orton repeats please) and they MUST have Randy dominating to show everyone the CLEAR boundaries between GREATNESS and SIMPLICITY (again no Cena vs Orton repeats).

Also, why is Randy even jobbing to KOFI?!!! I’d understand if this was back in the day when he’d job to Bourne or Cody or Ted… but WHY KOFI?!!! I’m sorry. I just CAN’T see it! I get that Kofi’s good, but greatness and good are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!!!! Even when Randy was CLEARLY jobbing to Cena (Summerslam,Breaking point, hiac, bragging rights) I could at least say “well at least it’s to another superstar that we know”.

This “feud” will just end up burning itself out in a few months. Just like CenvsOrton, there is NO foundation for a storyline. Oh Kofi cost Randy the belt, Randy attacks him, and Kofi hits back… I’m annoyed already. WE ALL KNOW THAT RANDY COULD JUST PUNT THE TWAT INTO THE NEXT LIFE SO WHY TRY TO EVEN BOTHER COVERING UP THAT FACT?!!!! It just makes their matches painful to watch. It’s like adding insult to injury – we know it’s scripted and they’re flashing the scripts on our screen.

Sigh… now I’m so pissed that I completely forgot about Kofi’s compliments… sigh…RKO RULES!!!!
