Backstage, WWE champion Randy Orton was shown getting warmed up for something. Jack Swagger then came in and said he’s got good news and bad news. Good news: Triple H didn’t beat the clock. Bad news: He will. Orton asked if he’s supposed to be scared. Swagger said he’s bigger, stronger, and younger. No lisp in the brief promo. Swagger left, then Mark Henry walked in and smiled at Orton before turning serious. Orton walked away this time.
Randy Orton was on his way to the ring coming out of the break. He wants a closer look at the action.
Post-match, Randy Orton slithered into the ring and stared down Cena, who pointed to himself and said he’s the man for Summerslam. Orton then held up his WWE Title belt and Cena smiled before his music hit and he celebrated.
