#10 – Evolution
The Game, The Animal, the Nature boy & the Legend Killer – all names in the WWE Universe associates with greatness. Also names they associate with the multi-generational entourage Evolution. The entity was not a grouping of just any Superstars, it featured some of the top names in WWE. All of its members were successful and powerful in their own right. Together they were a force to be reckoned with, but as all four strived for gold, their hunger got the best of them and the group eventualyl split.

I’ve just uploaded 24 High Quality scans of Randy from Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “Greats of the Game” Collector edition for the month of January 2009. Randy is one of the chosen six out of Shawn Michaels, Booker T, The Undertaker, Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio for this special edition magazine.

AN: I think this is definitely worth picking up if you have the chance. It has not only great photos of Randy but a in depth look into Randy’s career strengths and weaknesses. I found it to be great read.

SOURCE: New World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and CM Punk are all scheduled to meet with members of the media on December 1st in Washington, DC to promote WWE’s Tribute to the Troops before they fly out to Baghdad. Based on the talent announced for this, it looks like its mostly RAW names will be making the trip.

Um… Punk grabbed Regal when the bell sounded and gave him the G2S for a pin. Punk barely connected with the G2S, but we’ll ignore that. Layla didn’t like that, so she chucked her shoe at Punk and nearly took his eye out. With Regal out of the picture, they settled into an exchange of offensive control between the two teams. R-Truth and Shelton battled, then Shelton nailed the Paydirt at 8:00 for a pin. Kofi tried to follow by getting high…with a top rope kick…but Shelton kicked out of a pin attempt. Kofi then came back with a boom-boom leg drop, but Shelton kicked out again.

Randy Orton made his entrance tonight, then he meticulously took apart Kofi before nailing the horizontal DDT off the middle rope for a pin on Kofi. Punk tagged in to work on Orton, but Cody tagged in. Punk tried to attack him from the top rope, but Manu provided a distraction allowing Cody to toss Punk off the top rope before nailing a DDT. Cody with the pin on Punk for an elimination. Hardy then tried to work on Henry, but Henry caught Hardy in mid-air for the World’s Strongest Slam. Henry pinned Hardy at 15:00, leaving Batista by himself.
